Emily Velitchkov
Emily Velitchkov is the founder and CEO of The Readview — and a published author herself. Having gone through the process of writing, editing, and publishing her own novels, Emily knows firsthand how much honest, thoughtful feedback can change the trajectory of a book.
After years working as a manuscript editor in traditional publishing, she grew frustrated watching talented authors receive feedback that was either too vague to act on or too harsh to learn from. In 2019, from her home in California, she set out to build something different — an editorial service that treats every manuscript with the care it deserves.
What started as a one-person operation has grown into a team of 30+ genre specialists across three continents. Emily still personally reviews the editorial process to ensure every author gets the premium experience she envisioned from day one.
